Bidding Florida a Fond Farewell
I am honestly in love with this State as a place to be in the Winter months! The people that we encountered, fellow travelers, Snow-Birds and Residents were warm and delightful! I enjoyed the company of many talented quilters and Michael was able to find at least one musician to strum along with. Tonight is our last night here and then we travel on. I'm going to make a stop in Alabama at the mother-of-my-heart's house to see my adopted folks and catch up on all that is going on there. I spent 10 weeks in Alabama with them, so I am nearly a resident! After a short stop and visit there we will trek on to Paducah, Kentucky where the Spring AQS Quilt Week will begin on Wednesday. Michael and I look forward to seeing many quilters there and hope to host an Open Art Bus. I will post more about that if it comes about.
I will leave you with this message from my beloved Dr. Terry: be courageous. Be Curious!
Many Blessings! Nichole

I am Nichole Wilde and I welcome you to this congregation of creative souls! Random Acts of Artwork was created on May 1, 2013 and has been slowly bubbling and fermenting, growing into a vibrant starter for a serious movement since that time.
I am so honored to have been written about in December 2016 in Bonnie K. Hunter's Quiltville Blog: quiltville.blogspot.com/2016/12/nichole-quilts-across-america.html
And by Dawn Cavanaugh in the May/June issue of Fons and Porter Love of Quilting Magazine: http://www.fonsandporter.com/how-to-finish-a-quilt/quilting-quilt-oh-places-can-go-longarm-quilter-takes-classroom-road
Those articles do a nice job of summing up my personal story and tell you a little bit about Art Bus and my mission to live my life in service to Truth, Beauty, Humor and Love. Random Acts of Artwork is a movement that I dedicate to those beautiful loved ones in my life who have passed into another realm: Susan Seddon Boulet, Dorothy Boulet, Maurine Brooks, Becky Webb, Marcy Satteree, and Delaney Webb. Life is very beautiful and incredibly brief. Please share a little piece of yourself with the world while you can. Making things really does matter!
Many of my friends are in "the choir," in that they are always making things and giving them away. As a professional quilter by trade, I know so many quilters that are creative, in-tune and exquisitely generous. These are the soldiers in the creative army that is holding down the front-lines on wether we give ourselves over entirely to technology or continue to press forward into a New Renaissance. I'm for a new Renaissance, in case you were wondering.
If you are one of these beautiful souls that already shares your creations extensively with the world I heartily commend you and say thank you! You are integral to the evolution of humanity. The heart of Random Acts of Artwork is spreading beauty wherever we go, the second purpose is to encourage others to tap into their inner creativity and begin sharing pieces of themselves with the world too!
I have created a Random Acts of Artwork YouTube channel where I will be sharing a daily RAA and hosting a weekly meeting for like-minded creatives and budding artists. To launch my Wednesday night YouTube LIVE! show I have decided to revisit The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron. Join me as I work through this powerful 12-week creative recovery course that has helped thousands of creative people over several decades. Wednesday nights at 7 PM EST. I look forward to the adventures that are in store for us as we Share Art = Change The World! ~ Nichole (dedicated to shepherding creativity everywhere)
